Acting Up! - Children's Theatre Company

Summer Performing Arts Camps
These full day camps provide an opportunity for elementary and middle school students to experience the excitement of producing a show.

Campers will mount a popular musical production over two weeks, ending with a performance at 6:00pm on the last day of their camp session.

A short audition on the first day will place students in appropriate roles.

(Camp is Monday through Thursday each week - no Friday availability!)
 August Camp
August 8-18, 2011

It's upbeat plot and flamboyant characters have made Annie one of the most beloved musicals in history--what girl hasn't dreamed of performing the title role or playing the outrageous Miss Hannigan? Cast size is flexible, and the age range of the parts makes Annie Junior ideal for productions involving different grade levels, or for middle school where students may be maturing at different rates. The bright, tuneful score is easy to sing and filled with familiar numbers.

July Camp
July 11-21, 2011
The timeless fairy tale meets the magic of Disney in this adaptation of the treasured animated film. Poor Cinderella is endlessly mistreated by her wicked stepmother and stepsisters, and denied a chance to go to the Royal Ball. With a little help from her mice friends, and a lot of help from her Fairy Godmother, Cinderella goes to the ball, meets the Prince, and falls in love! With a beautiful score including "A Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Makes" and the classic "Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo," this musical will charm its way into your heart, and remind you that dreams really can come true.
